TO ENROL.

JUNIOR MEMBERS must be 13 years of age with a small dog and 16 years of age with a larger dog. However, each application is treated individually and we reserve the right to refuse/return membership at any stage if we feel our class situation is not suitable for a child and their dog.

Please arrive between 10.00 am and 10.15 am on a Sunday morning. You can enrol on any Sunday morning prior to the beginning of a course and sit on the bench to socialise your dog. This is particularly useful for puppies.

Do not bring your dog on the field until you have enrolled but do bring it with you.

You will need a normal collar/half check & lead, (not an expander or chain type lead), poo bags & treats/toy for your dog.

You will need to bring your vaccination certificates and microchip number. This will be checked against your dog. Payment is by cash or cheque only.

The person becoming a member is the only person who can train the dog on the premises. If you are bringing a child with you they must stay inside the hut or be accompanied by a family adult on the benches during training times.

Classes run from 10.30am to 12 noon, with a coffee break 11 to 11.30am. NO DOGS IN THE HUT AT TEA BREAK.

Puppy Class: Puppy foundation course for pups between 3 & 10 months (Puppy class is limited ). This class gets full very quickly so it is advisable to come down and enrol as soon as your dog is vaccinated. WE DO NOT TAKE TELEPHONE OR EMAIL RESERVATIONS. If you need any other information and start dates see our News Page. Please note that dogs imported from a foreign country must have been in the UK for 6 months before being accepted for training classes.

If you would like to see our Privacy Policy there is a hard copy available at the Club Hut.

Obedience Classes

Obedience classes are held on Sunday 10:30 - 12:00.
They run on an 8-week cycle with an assessment on the last week to see if the dog is ready to progress to the next level of training (please note that you are only allowed to be assessed once per course). At the present time we run classes Puppy, Puppy Plus/Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4

For class two and three members there is ADDITIONAL training held during the summertime on a Tuesday evening between 7pm - 8pm. This is limited to 12 dogs so you will need to add your name to the list in the hut.
